Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are gearing up for their upcoming releases Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. Both films will clash at the box office on 18 December. Deepika says that she will definitely miss SRK during the promotions.
"I am definitely going to miss Shah Rukh on that day. Eight years ago, it was a very special day when I started my journey, my career. So, the feeling is there that I will miss him, as he is part of some other movie. "But having said that, we both are doing very different films. As an audience it is very exciting that we will get to see two such different kinds of movies," Deepika told PTI.
The movie, an adaptation of the book "Rau", evoked controversy after the descendants of Bajirao and Mastani objected to some songs and alleged distortion of facts. Deepika says as an audience she accepts a film for the way it is. "As an audience's point of view, I am very accepting of the films the way they are. When I go to the theatre as an audience, I don't challenge anything or question anything. I watch the movie and then base my opinion on that."
Shah Rukh Khan launched her eight years ago and now Deepika Padukone's ‘Bajirao Mastani’ will clash with the superstar's ‘Dilwale’. nterestingly, SRK-Deepika's ‘Om Shanti Om’ faced Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Saawariya’ in 2007 and this time it is the other way around as the filmmaker has teamed up with the actress for ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
