Q. It was being said that Ek Tha Tiger opening day had 100% occupancy and probably biggest opening day for a Hindi film. How much u agree with it? (Prashant Yadav)
Ans. Ek Tha Tiger was released on around 3300 screens. The film collected 32.93 crore on its opening day. It was simply unbelievable at that time. The film set the record for highest opening day beating previous best Agneepath (22 crore) by a huge margin. The occupancy was in the range of 90-95% in all over India. So far no film has matched the craze and hype of Ek Tha Tiger.
Q. What is the budget of Dilwale? (Bilal Khan)

Q. Who will star opposite Salman Khan in Sultan ? (Awais Malik)
Ans. If sources are to be believed, the makers have already finalized the leading lady in Sultan. But they will announce it later.
Q. Why Akshay Kumar films are not doing well at the box office? (Rohit)
Ans. There are a lot of factors to be blamed for. But the biggest problem is that multiplex audience are not coming to watch Akshay Kumar movies. Now a days a lot of things in film business have changed. If the budget of movie is on the higher side, then it cannot recover it only from single screens. Brothers was always a risky film due to its heavy budget and genre.
Akshay Kumar should do more commercial masala entertainers and also work on sequels. Hera Pheri 3 was one film which would have a huge potentail with Akshay in the lead. But unfortunately that did not happen. The music for his last few films have also disappointed which is essential for a good opening.
Akshay Kumar should also work on his look as he was looking too old in Gabbar and Brothers. He is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood and should look young on silver screens too.
As for future Housefull 3 and Namaste England are his best bet.
Q. Why Akshay Kumar did not release his movies on Eid, Diwali or Christmas?
Ans. Akshay Kumar’s Action replay was released on Diwali 2010 and it was a big flop. Tees Maar Khan was released on Christmas 2010 and it also could not perform well. He released Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara on Independence Day 2013 and it turned out to be a another flop. And now Brothers released on Independence Day is also going the same way. Now you may know why he cannot release his films on festivals.
