Udta Punjab 2nd Friday Box Office Collection
Udta Punjab has low collections at the start of its second week. According to official figures Udta Punjab collection on its 8th day is 1.40 crore.
The film has a drastic fall despite the fact that the collections were on the lower side. That is mainly due to the strong competition from Sardaar Ji 2 which has created history in East Punjab and Delhi. Udta Punjab box office collection in 8 days will be close to 50 crore. The film still requires few more crores to recover its investment. It will be touch and go situation for Udta Punjab to emerge average grosser. Though the makers have already celebrated the success of the film.

Considerable drastic drop shows it took initials due to disputed publicity otherwise movie did not like by the public…!!!
@Almost agree with u bro @Vijay… The huge initials mostly Bcz of the Censor board controversy. But I think the movie was liked by the targeted audience…
Even a 65cr is a very good collection ( may be a hit) considering the niche genre and lack of huge Audience for this type of films..
But if u consider the initial its a disappointment.. but most of us know the reason of that huge initial.. simply the censor board controversy….
