Tiger Zinda Hai Budget, Screen Count, Economics: Finally the most anticipated project of the year is here. Starring India’s biggest superstar Salman Khan, Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by YRF.
Tiger Zinda Hai Budget:
According to Yash Raj Films, the production cost of Tiger Zinda Hai is 130 crores while another 20 crores have been spent on marketing. This does not include Salman Khan’s fee as he will share profits and will also take satellite rights.
By adding Salman Khan’s market value, the final budget would be around 200 crores which will make it the most expensive project till date. (Technically Padmavati is the costliest film as only production cost of that film is 200 crores. But the film was delayed.)
Tiger Zinda Hai Screen Count:
It is releasing in approx 4600 screens in India and 1100 screens in overseas. The screen count is the bigger than Salman’s other recent release like Sultan and Tubelight.
Tiger Zinda Hai Economics:
Yash Raj Films will be in the safe zone thanks to a huge non-theatrical recovery. There are no worries from the economics perspective as YRF will make money anyway. However, to be a clean box office hit, the film should go over 250 crores.
Tiger Zinda Hai has everything in its favour. India’s biggest action hero in a blockbuster trailer followed by two chartbuster tracks. The advance booking has not set any records but this is very much accepted as Salman’s core following is in masses which do spot bookings. It is most likely that film will target 40 crores on opening day.
