Sultan Box Office Collection: Sultan collections continues to set new benchmarks and new records which everyone will find difficult to break. Although PK collection seems to be out of reach (340 cr), there is one other Aamir Khan film that Sultan has taken over and that’s Dhoom 3. Here is Sultan collection report for 16 days.
Sultan Box Office Collection in 16 Days
Sultan has done very good business in the second week. The film managed to maintain a good pace, however a little more was expected from this sports drama film. Sultan box office collection in the second week (day 10-day16) will be 48.29 crores. It is the highest 2nd week of 2016. The film has also become 3rd highest grosser of all time in Hindi cinema. Interestingly contributions from multiplexes are higher in the second week if we compare to Salman’s other releases.
The new release Great Grand Masti has disappointed in the first week. Though after a low opening weekend, the film sustained on weekdays but that hardly matters as the opening was disastrous. Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial is a blockbuster hit at the box office. In North India and Rajasthan, the film has its best performances as compared to the rest. In its third week, Sultan collection will all depend on the performance of the new releases and also screen count.
Salman Khan is on cloud nine as his last three films , have made it big at the box office in a span of a year. It will be interesting to see how it performs in the third week. There are new releases Kabali and Madaari hitting the screens. Madaari has been well promoted but still the film lacks universal appeal. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s Kabali is expected to take Earth shattering opening in South but it will be dependent on word of mouth as far Hindi version is concerned. This can be the last week for Sultan to collect moolah at the box office.

After receiving good reviews, Salman Khan starrer has been appreciated by the audience and the proof of it is the box office collection. The film was released in 5,450 screens at the worldwide box office on July 6.

nice yaar ….. fraiday agar —- 2.20-2.60cr tak hua to aram se 300cr par hogahi….
Now it just require 22.45cr to cross 300cr and it will be collected within 3rd week only…that will be salman’s 2nd 300 cr. Movie while lungiwala still not crossing 100cr….hahaha
Sultan can not collect that much in 3rd week, too less screens for that and too much competition.
If friday 1.5cr., week = 12-13 cr.
If friday 2cr., week = 14-15 cr.
If friday 2.5cr. ,week = 16-17 cr.
Only if friday 2.5 or more, Sultan can cross 300cr. because 4th week will be its last and with Dishoom it will be 5cr. max.
And honestly I don’t get why this website care so much about 200cr., 300cr …
