According to the latest media reports Shahrukh Khan's wax statue at the Madam Tussauds, London will be pulled out and set up at the London Eye. This is a first that a statue has been allowed to be taken outside the 250-year-old museum.
"It is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom and draws over 3.75 visitors every year. This year, many locals and visitors will get a chance to get up close and clicked with the Badshah," a source informed the Mumbai Mirror.
SRK's statue, which has him dressed in a well-tailored black suit, will undergo a wardrobe change. "He's all set to go in for a wardrobe change and will be wearing the clothes of a character from one of his upcoming films," the insider further elaborated. If reports are to be believed he will be dressed up as Gaurav (a character from Fan).
The Madam Tussauds houses statues of eight Bollywood celebrities — Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene — including Shah Rukh's.
