Shahrukh Khan, who was currently seen in Dilwale, is now gearing up for his upcoming films Raees and Fan. With an overwhelming schedule, new reports are stating that the actor might be working on a new film for 2016.
Vishal Bharadwaj recently admitted that he wants to direct a film based entirely on SRK. He says he has a subject ready and the two have discussed about it at length.
According to a leading daily, when Bharadwaj was asked how far his plan has been worked out, he said, “I have a subject and both of us are interested in working on it together but pursuing him is a long process. Whenever we meet we are like ‘now let’s start our film’ but that never happens.”
“In the past I have had many fights with Shah Rukh, once in fact we had a big fight. But later we became very good friends,” continued the director. “We are both looking forward to or at I am looking forward to working with him. However, it is very difficult to catch hold of him and I don’t have the patience to pursue anyone.”
Aside from working with Bharadwaj, previous reports stated that SRK will be seen in an extended cameo in filmmaker Gauri Shinde’s next movie, which also features Alia Bhatt.
This comes after SRK reportedly promised to now slow down on filmmaking and will continue to book several projects.
The “Dilwale” actor is not reducing the amount of films he makes every year. In fact, during a special screening at Hyderabad for “Dilwale,” he confirmed that he would make three movies a year.
“I want to do different roles. So, I decided that from the age of 50-55, I want to do 15 very nice films and that will include popular films, offbeat films, mad films and many more. I will do many different films. I want to do three films a year,” said SRK.
