Riding high on hype and promotions, Sardaar Gabbar Singh was released in over 2600 screens worldwide on Friday and got an overwhelming response. But the numbers have dropped drastically in several overseas locations. While the Thursday premieres registered record opening, the numbers on Friday and Saturday don’t look good and that’s a bad sign for the movie.
Sardar Gabbar Singh box office collection has once again proved that Pawan Kalyan is the most popular star in Telugu industry. But a film cannot survive only with star power as the content has to be solid. Going by the trends it looks like that film will fall short of 100 crores.
Directed by K.S. Ravindra, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sharad Kelkar and Kabir Duhan Singh in important roles.
