Salman Khan’s Sultan to release in Tamil & Telugu

Salman Khan’s Eid release Sultan will now be dubbed into Tamil and Telugu to capture the South Indian market. The decision was taken in the light of Salman’s extended popularity in the South.

“So far, Salman was the Sultan of the North. But Prem Ratan Dhan Payo changed that. The dubbed version of the film performed very well in spite of competition from big Tamil and Telugu films. Sultan will be released like any big release in those markets,” says the source.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was also released in regional languages and did reasonable business there. Due to the huge buzz and anticipation for Sultan, several Tamil and Telugu films scheduled for July are being rescheduled. Recently Rajnikanth’s Kabali has also avoided the clash with Sultan.

Sultan is based on the life of 3 times Haryana State Wrestling champion, Sultan Ali Khan. It also features Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles.

This is the reason why Kabali didn’t clash with Sultan…Must say team Kabali took a wise decission in not clashing with Sultan?…Both superstars r at the top of thier game…Best wishes to megastars Rajnikanth n Salman Khan for thier upcoming flicks respectively as both try to cash in moolah at thier respective markets by dishing out ATBB movies in the form of Kabali n Sultan ?
