Raman Raghav 2.0, Independence Day Resurgence & Sardaar Ji 2 Box Office Collection Update

This Friday 5 Hindi films 7 Hours To Go, A Scandall, Junooniyat, Raman Raghav 2.0 and Shorgul hit the screens. All of them have a disastrous start. However it was Hollywood’s Independence Day: Resurgence and Punjabi release Sardarji 2 which has dominated the box office.

Raman Raghav 2.0 Box Office Collection Update:

Anurag Kashyap’s directional has the second best start as compared to the other Bollywood films. But even it has opened to around 5% occupancy in the morning shows. The recent controversy has not helped the film at all. Raman Raghav is unlikely to show big growth as the genre is not favourable. Raman Raghav 2.0 1st day collection is targeting for 1 crore at its best. A complete washout

Junooniyat Box Office Collection Update:

Junooniyat has opened to around 7% occupancy. The music may have helped the film a little in small centers. However, it is a very poor start and such films cannot recover well. A disaster

Independence Day Resurgence Box Office Collection Update:

Hollywood film has a decent start as it recorded 25% occupancy mostly at multiplexes. It was also allotted many single screens but had a poor occupancy there. As we reported yesterday these kinds of films have a little market in India. It should collect 4-5 crore.

Sardaar Ji 2 Box Office Collection Update:

Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 2 is one a historic start in East Punjab and Delhi. It has practically opened to packed houses in most of the places. The film was released in around 300 screens in India. Sardaar Ji 2 1st day collection can challenge the highest opening day ever in Punjabi industry. Diljit Dosanjh has two back to back release (Udta Punjab and Sardaar Ji 2) and both have an excellent opening in North India. It shows the star power of Punjabi’s biggest superstar.
