Shahrukh Khan’s Raees was expected to clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan. However, much to the fans disappointment, this highly anticipated clash was averted by SRK shifting Raees to January 27, 2017.
In an interview with a leading news channel, SRK revealed that the shooting of the film got delayed by about eight to nine months because of the injury he sustained while filming the same.
“I was injured when we were shooting, because of which all of my films were delayed by a good 8-9 months. We did the action scenes but there were some left. After we completed the shoot, I thought some of the scenes haven’t turned out the way I wanted it to. The film is over now. But it was all done in a hurry and so we took the decision.”
He also talked about Sultan, “Then Sultan was ready for release along with Raees. Two big films on the same day. So, we all decided that if you are completely ready, we can accommodate.”
