Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Box Office Collection Day 7

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 7th Day Collection (Wednesday):

PRDP has a decent hold on Wednesday. According to official figures Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 7th day box office collection is 10.02 crore.

The film has shown good trends in the circuits of CI, UP and Gujarat. While East Punjab and Bengal has crashed completely. Delhi and Rajasthan are also poor. Mumbai has done well so far. The film is doing very good business in the interiors where it has refused to slow down. It has still good occupancy at single screens but due to low ticket prices, the collections are down a bit.

PRDP 7th day collection has dropped as compared to yesterday. It is probably due to the fall in multiplexes. After a big drop on Monday, they sustained well on Tuesday and now again dropped. Hollywood film Spectre will release in India on Thursday. So this could be the end for PRDP at multiplexes especially in metro cities.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo box office collection in 7 days will be 165.45 crore. It has already crossed Shahrukh Khan’s last release Happy New Year first week collection. It will also beat Kick and Krrish 3 to record the fourth highest opening week ever.

The second weekend will be crucial for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. A 20 crore+ second weekend will be a good result considering the trend. Anyway it should cross 200 crore in the second week.

Despite huge budget, the film is very much in the safe zone. In fact the film has recovered all its investment and now it will generate decent profits for the distributors. The complete report about PRDP budget and economics will be published tomorrow.
