Phillauri Budget, Screen Count, Economics

Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Phillauri is releasing this Friday. It is a fantasy romantic film which is set in Punjab.

Phillauri Budget:

According to the official statement, the total budget of the film stands at approx 21 crores including production cost and marketing. It has been made on a very controlled budget despite the fact the major portion of film has been shot outdoor.

Phillauri Screen Count:

The film is expected to release in approximately 1000-1200 screens mainly targeted towards the metros and the Northern belt. It is a good number for such kind of a film.

Phillauri Economics:

The makers have already recovered 12 crore by selling music and satellite rights. Thus the film will be profitable for producers unless it is failed badly.

  • Music and Video Rights: 5 Cr
  • Satellite Rights: 7 Cr
  • Recover Costs: 30 Cr
  • Hit: 35 Cr
  • Super Hit: 65 Cr

Expectations:

The film has been promoted well using different and unique strategies but the buzz of the film is not that high. It can take off in East Punjab due to the presence of Diljit Dosanjh. We are expecting it to have a decent opening day of in the range of 5 crores.
