Phantom has a decent hold on its first Monday. The early trends suggest that film has dropped 45-50% from Friday.
The occupancy in the morning shows was obviously lowered from Friday. It was held better in Delhi, East Punjab and Mumbai. The films that are targeted at multiplexes always tend to show growth in the evening. So we can hope that things will start to improve as the day will progress.
The single screens showed some improvement on Saturday and Sunday but today they have dropped again. As we have mentioned earlier that big city multiplexes will have to carry the film forward. The yesterday has shown a small drop which is normal as Saturday was extra ordinary due to semi holiday. The trend is still looking good but the the film has to go a long way before it recovers its cost.
Phantom first weekend box office collection is 33.18 crore. It has set record for the 8th highest opening weekend of 2015.
