Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero 1st Day Box Office Collection
This weekend has turned out to be very dull for all the new Bollywood release. None of them were even able to collect 1 crore on the opening day. It was a Hollywood film which came out with higher collections as compared to the combined total of all other releases.
Machine 1st Day Collection:
Machine will collect in the range of 50-60 lakhs on the first day which is a very poor start. The film was released in over 1000 screens which make things worse. It has been rejected on the first day itself. Though it can show some growth over the weekend as the start is very low but that will be irrelevant.
Aa Gaya Hero 1st Day Collection:
Govinda’s comeback film came out with the worst number of 0.20 cr on the first day. The production costs of the films were 7-8 crore and further 5 crore have been spent on P&A. Aa Gaya Hero collection in lifetime will not be able to recover the marketing costs.
Trapped 1st Day Collection:
Trapped also failed at the box office with collections of around 25 lakhs. As reported earlier, the film had practically no audience in the morning shows. There was some improvement in the evening shows as it could not go further low.
Beauty and The Beast 1st Day Collection:
Hollywood release Beauty and The Beast has collected 1.50 crore in India. This is a decent start considering the genre and screen count. It has also opened to a terrific start in North America. The film has collected $16.3 million from Thursday previews only which is the highest of 2017.
