On the whole, LUKA CHUPPI is a funny take on the modern relationships laced with dollops of situational and funny moments. This clean comedy would get thumbs up not just from the youngsters but also from the family audiences. Recommended!

Rating: 2/5

All said and done, Luka Chuppi packs in few laughs but there is no major reason why I should recommend this to anyone. If you’re game for, “You’re so cute!”, “Haan, bachpan mein bohot makhhan khaya tha na” kind of dialogues, you can give it a try at your own risk.

Indian Express

Rating: 1.5/5

Somewhere deep inside Luka Chuppi is the film it wanted to be: a send-up of the tiresome rituals and hypocrisies which bind socially-sanctioned relationships, and an attack on religious bigotry.

Rating: 2/5

The last word is reserved for Guddu and Rashmi, who unwrap Trivedi’s political opportunism and declare that the youth of India is a vote bank not to be gagged by an outdated moral code. Now if only they had taken this stand 60 minutes sooner.

Rating: 3/5

Luka Chuppi is an enjoyable watch that is directed at a young audience who will find it very relatable. It also subtly touches upon various relevant and timely social issues. Go for it and have a good time at the movies!

Rating: 3/5

Director Laxman Utekar has done a fair job along with the dialogue writer who delivers some rib tickling humourous dialogues, which are mild but noteworrthy. The movie will NOT make you go wow but if you are looking for some relaxing time and mild laughter to cease the ‘borderline’ tension, Kartik and Kriti have the right offering for you.

Rating: 2/5

Luka Chuppi isn’t without its moments, but its downside overwhelms its strengths by a big margin. It offers shallow entertainment at best. Watch the film only if that is good enough for you.

Bollywood Life

Rating: 2.5/5

The film has a Stree vibe to it and not in a good way. Watch it for Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s refreshing chemistry and Pankaj Tripathi’s antics in a one-time experience (if you have absolutely nothing else to do). We are going with 2 stars.

Ignore the critics’ reviews. Go and see the film yourself, if you are so inclined. The range of their ratings speaks for itself, but very few films are not entertaining.
