The film marks the debut of comedy king Kapil Sharma. The trailer of the film was received well and music has also become hit. Abbas Mastan has further raised the expectations bar. Let’s move on to the Kapil Sharma Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu review to find out if it lives up to the expectations.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon Review
The film tells the story of a man who goes by 3 identities Shiv, Ram and Kishan (played by Kapil Sharma). Every time Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan lands up helping a girl in distress, he lands up marrying that girl! That establishes the fact as to how he gets married to Juhi (Manjari Fadnis), Simran (Simran Kaur Mundi) and Anjali (Sai Lokur). As luck would have it, all his wives live in the same apartment. Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan very successfully hides his marriage from all the three wives. And none of them knows the fact that Shiv, Ram and Kishan are one and the same man and cheating on them.
The plot gets twistier with the entry of Deepika (Elvi Avram), the girl he really loves. He plans to marry Elli Avram as well due to fear of losing her. But before he can execute another marriage, his parents arrived. The plot gets further murkier when all the three wives become best of friends (unaware that they ‘share’ the same husband). The confusion increases when all his three wives are invited on their best friend (Deepika) wedding. This all leads to an interesting and emotional climax. What will happen next, watch the film to find out.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu Review: Direction, Editing, Screenplay
Abbas Mastan are first time trying their hand on a full-fledged comedy. Let’s see what they have done.
The story of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, penned by Anukalp Goswami, is entertaining and gives a lot of scope for comedy but still it is predictable. The screenplay capitalizes on this and creates many situations where the audience finds itself laughing out loud. The rib tickling dialogues are the best thing about the movie. But one must understand that dialogues cannot alone help the film thrive. And of course, many will find the going-ons to be brainless.
Abbas Mastan’s direction is decent as he holds the comedy together very well. The songs have been picturised well. Cinematography, by Dilshad V.A is poor. You may have a feel that you are watching a TV serial. Editing, by Hussain Burmawalla is sharp.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon Movie Review: Star Performances
Kapil Sharma is in his element. He wows with his performance and comic timing and thus brings a smile to the audience’s lips. Though many will compare his performance to his TV show act but one must understand that this is his film. On the whole Kapil has made a good debut.
Of all the girls, Manjari Phadnis and Simran Kaur Mundi acts well and do not disappoint. While Elli Avram add glam value. Arbaaz Khan is funny in his small role. Varun Sharma does what he is famous for.
♦ One liners
♦ Kapil’s performance
♦ The situational comedy
♦ 1st half is boring at times
♦ Predictable Story
♦ More looks like a TV serial
