Katti Batti Box Office Opening:

The last few months have been very good for Bollywood. We have seen some huge successful films like Piku, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, ABCD 2, Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

But the recent back to back flops Bangistan, Brothers and All Is Well have been a disappointment. Now all eyes are now on today’s release Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan’s Katti Batti.

Katti Batti was released today in around 1800 screens. The early trends show that the film has taken a slow start at the box office on Friday.

Katti Batti Morning Shows Report

The occupancy in the morning shows was around 15-20%. The film has opened well in big metro cities like Mumbai and Delhi while poor in all other centers.

The opening may seems poor but actually this has been the trend for most of multiplex oriented films. They open slow and then tend to show growth in the evening shows. The early reports are mixed for Katti Batti. But still it is expected that the film will shows growth in the evening shows.

Katti Batti 1st Day 1st Show Collections:

Jodhpur: 20,300
Bhilwara: 10,780
Bikaner: 15,138
Kota: 59.278
Jaipur: 71,889
Total: 177,385 (Below Average)

The other release MSG2 box office opening is good in Delhi where it has opened to almost full house. But the screen count is very low for the film. So MSG 2 1st day collection will be low.

Katti Batti Evening Shows Report:

Katti Batti has been picked up at multiplexes in Mumbai and Delhi. But the growth is not in the range that it should have been. Unfortunately, the word of mouth seems to be negative so far. The film has to show huge growth on Saturday now to have any chance at the box office. Looking at the trend it seems that Katti Batti 1st day collection can be in the range of 5 crore.
