According to the reports published in a leading daily, Karan Johar is hoping on breaking every stereotype associated with homosexuality by roping in the three Khans of Bollywood for a film.
The director, who previously spoke up about the challenges he faced in his childhood for being effeminate, has recently opened up to a daily, where he claimed that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan will be happy to play homosexuals on the screen.
During the trailer launch of Manoj Bajpai’s ‘Aligarh’, Karan was asked if Bollywood’s three Khans would have the same level of comfort to portray homosexual characters in a film.
Replying to it, Karan said that it mainly depends on the script, if it is good and poignant, they wouldn’t mind playing such roles.
Hansal Mehta’s ‘Aligarh’, is based on the real life of professor Ramchandra Siras of Aligarh University. The film will see Manoj Bajpai essaying the role of the professor, who was ousted from the university for his homosexual orientation.
