Kaabil Review by DNA
Kaabil is old-school, emotional and forceful. And an absolute must for all Hrithik Roshan fans. And if you aren’t his fan, you might feel differently after this film
Kaabil Review by Times of India
The highlight of the film is Hrithik’s bravura performance. He is vulnerable as a lover and menacing as a killing-machine. Half a star in the movie-rating is reserved for his all-time best performance here. Yami provides the perfect foil, subtle and super-effective. Technically the film is adept, thanks to with masters like Sudeep Chatterjee (camera) and Resul Pookutty (sound).
Kaabil Review by Bollywood Life
Kaabil is Hrithik Roshan‘s swan song and deservedly so becomes his career best performance. Watch and marvel at what can easily be termed as the finest performance to come out of Bollywood in a long time.
Kaabil Review by Khalid Mohamad
A word of caution here: I’m no trade soothsayer. Bollywood movies come with their own destiny and fortune. Strictly for the sake of Hrithik Roshan, who invests seamless conviction and expertise into the vulnerable Rohan Bhatnagar, I wish Kaabil is a commercial upper. Quality-wise, Kaabil, left me igloo cold. So would I recommend a look-see?: For Hrithik yes, for the rest of Kaabil NO.
Kaabil Review by Mid-day
Does the film itself live up to the expectations though? Well, that depends on your expectations. There is a lot of realism missing in what’s supposed to be a gritty thriller. Locations seem semi-fake. In portions, the film itself appears slightly cold, and thoda sa plastic. But if you were to keep your eyes glued to the screen and follow the blind man’s graphite walking stick right down to the picture’s climax, I’m fairly certain you won’t be disappointed. Yeah, it is, for the most part, kaabil-e-tareef!
Kaabil Review by Taran Adarsh
On the whole, KAABIL is gripping, gut-wrenching and is likely to stay with you for a long time. Now that DANGAL has almost exhausted its run at the ticket windows, the box-office is quiet and subdued and KAABIL should have no difficulty filling seats at cineplexes, despite a strong opponent releasing alongside. Rich in merits, this film has the power and potential to emerge a success story at the box-office. Highly recommended!
Kaabil Review by India Today
Watch Kaabil for Hrithik Roshan, who deserves an extra star above the 1.5 to the film. There’s not much else in Kaabil.
Kaabil Review by Hindustan Times
Kaabil is not extraordinary, but it has all the elements of a ‘masala’ potboiler. The catch is that it’s been dished out in a typical Bollywood style which may not give it a novelty. But there isn’t any particular reason for not watching it.
Kaabil Review by Indian Express
Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam film is not a safe love story. The rape-and-revenge saga has Hrithik doing all the heavy lifting but he is failed by the obvious plot.
Kaabil Review by Deccan Chronicles
The highpoint of ‘Kaabil’ is that, the plot of the film is very okay but the screenplay is intelligently played out. The film won’t bore you even for a second. ‘Kaabil’ is overwhelming, magical and a feel good film. The film is one of the most interesting revenge sagas made in the recent times.
Kaabil Review by Pinkvilla
Hrithik strikes an even note in each scene. He is believable and his killing spree feels every bit real. He is cold-blooded and when he knocks down, one scumbag at a time, he makes you want to stand up and whistle. But there isn’t a single reason for you to not watch the movie. Grab a popcorn, book a single screen and maaro some seeti Apna hero is Baar naam Roshan Kar raha hai…
Kaabil Review by Koimoi
Kaabil is not a must-watch. Hrithik fans will certainly enjoy it for his talented act but overall for thriller fans, there are too many loopholes to catch.
