Hamari Adhuri Kahani was a romantic dram film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Vishesh Films. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao in the lead roles. It was released on 12 June 2015.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani box office collection in three weeks is 37.57 crore. The film had a low opening day of 5.04 crore. The failed to show a good growth over the weekend. But it sustained well on weekdays. HAK fell over 80% in the second week and could not add much to the collection.

The fared best in Gujarat and CPCI but even here collection were below average. The film was made on the budget of 32 crore. Thus it has recovered its cost. But still much more was expected from Emraan-Mohit combo.

♦ This is seventh consecutive failure for Emraan Hashmi. And this time even the combo of Mohit and Vishesh films failed. He is suffering from the worst phase of his career. He will be now all dependant on his next film Azhar as he is not doing any film other than this.

♦ Just like Emmi, Vidya Balan has also not achieved success in a long time. We think that her choice of films have let her down. After HAK, she has not signed any film yet.

♦ The failure of HAK will not have much impact on the director Mohit Suri. He is getting a lot of offers from many production houses. He will soon start working on his next film based on Chetan Bhagat novel Half Girlfriend.

The film was not promoted much and thus it failed to create any buzz. May be Fox Star Studios are facing financial crissi after the disastrous Bombay Velvet.
