Shahrukh Khan starrer Fan was released in China on 2 November 2016. However, it has turned out to be a disappointment at the Chinese box office.

Fan China box office collection in its lifetime stands at $219,921 which equals to approx 1.49 cr INR. This is a poor result considering the standards set by Aamir Khan in the Chinese market. In fact, PK day 14 collection ($0.36 million) is higher than the lifetime collection of Fan (0.21 m) in China.

Shahrukh Khan has failed to leave a mark in China market twice. In the meantime Aamir Khan continues to be the only attraction there. His last release PK went on to gross 123 crore and is the highest Bollywood grosser in China. While Salman Khan is yet to explore this market. Kabir Khan has confirmed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan will release in China but since then no update has been given.

Check out the top opening weekend for Bollywood films in China.
