Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam has proven to be a successful film at the box office. Despite the fact that film has a below average opening, it continued its slow but steady pace. And now the film is inching towards 50 successful days at the box office.
Now a days, even the successful films have only two or three weeks run at the box office. But the month of July has proven to be very lucky for Bollywood. Three releases of that month Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and most probably Drishyam will have 50 days of run at the box office.
Drishyam has so far collected 76.48 crore in 6 weeks. The film has already recovered its cost and generated decent profits for distributors. If the film was promoted well and had a better release date, then it could have been a different story altogether.
