Ans. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a family drama film which has a perfect release date as family audience go to theaters in huge numbers on Diwali. But the real question is will the youth accept such kind of old drama film. If the film clicks with youth (which looks tough) then no one can stop PRDP from breaking records at the box office. But on the cards, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Diwale are the top contenders for highest grossing film of the year followed by Tamasha, PRDP and Brothers respectively.
Ans. It is tough to answer as box office is very unpredictable. Sanjaly Leela Bhansali track record is not good as he has given huge disasters like Saanwariya and Guzaarish in the past. It is not a wise decision to clash with Shahrukh Khan masala entertainer film. But on the other hand if the makers delay Bajirao Mastani then it will create negativity about the film. The better choice will be to release Bajirao Mastani on 25 December 2015.
Ans. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has no chace of surpassing Baahubali opening day record. South Indian and Bollywood films are in two different leagues so we cannot compare both films. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is releasing on last day of Ramadan so the Muslims will prefer to watch it on next day which is Eid. So Bajrangi Bhaijaan can challenge Bahubali opening day record on its second day.
Ans. The initial response is decent to average. The audience expectations were raised as they were expecting some thing like Chikni Chameli.
