Brahmotsavam Total Box Office Collection

Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavan has failed big time at the box office. After two weeks, it has collected a distributor share of 36 crores in India. The writing was on the wall on its opening day itself. Its fate is even worse than Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh which did huge business over the weekend and then witnessed heavy falls. But in the case of Brahmotsavam, the decline started on the first day.

The film is one of the biggest failures of all time in Tollywood history. It was bought at heavy prices by distributors and now they will have to face big losses. The same is the case in the USA where it was nowhere near to recovery. An estimate suggests that Bramostavam will suffer from a loss of approx 35 crores.

At the start of the 3rd week, the film is out from most of the theaters and is replaced by Aaa which is doing good business. Mahesh Babu has taken the responsibility for the failure of Brahmotsavam. He says the film’s director shouldn’t be blamed for its poor show. There are also reports that he will compensate the losses but no confirmation has been made yet.
