Bollywood Reactions on Abdul Kalam Death
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who won popular acclaim as India’s president in 2002-07, passed away on Monday evening after collapsing during a lecture at the IIM-Shillong, officials said.
“Kalam is no more,” Meghalaya Chief Secretary P.B.O. Warjri told IANS, shortly after the president passed away at the Bethany Hospital where he was taken to from the management school. Doctors said Kalam suffered cardiac arrest.
The news went viral on Facebook and Twitter. The social media response to Abdul Kalam death was tragic as people were in shock after hearing the news. The Twitter reactions on Abdul Kalam death were of such an extent that APJ Abdul Kalam and #RIPAbdulKalam started trending within few minutes.
Upon hearing the sad news, Bollywood celebrities took to social to react to the sudden demise of Dr. Kalam.
