Bajrangi Bhaijaan Review:

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a drama film directed by Kabir Khan. The film stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. It is produced by Salman Khan Films. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is scheduled to release on 17 July 2015.

The expectations from the Salman starrer are very high. The promos have been received well while the music has already become an instant hit. The combo of Salman-Kabir have further raised the audience anticipation.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Movie Review:

Kabir Khan has earlier directed commercially and critically successful films like New York and Ek Tha Tiger. Let’s see what he has to offer this time.

The film tells the journey of a young speech-impaired girl from Pakistan who finds herself lost in India with no way to head back over the border to her home. An Indian man (Salman Khan) undertakes the task to get her back to her home and reunite her with her family.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Review: Direction, Editing, Screenplay

V. Vijayendra Prasad’s story smartly mixes an emotional drama with a love story which is sort of exciting. Kabir Khan and Neelesh Misra’s script has its share of flaws. The movie also seems a bit long with the duo on the run most of the time. Dialogues are very good and keep a good dose of humour. The climax will leave you in tears.

Kabir Khan’s direction is well done. Bajrangi Bhaijaan might seem a bit long in between, but once the action starts, it gets on track. Pritam’s songs are good especially Zindagi. Cinematography by Aseem Mishra is breathtaking. Rameshwar Bhagat’s editing could be better.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Review: Star Performances

Salman Khan breaks the stereotype and does a fabulous job as Pavan Kumar. This is probably his best performance after Khamoshi: The Musical. Kareena Kapoor is lovely as Rasika and smoothly carries off her bubbly and emotional scenes. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a gem. He can pull off almost everything and Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s role will be another feather on his cap. Harshaali Malhotra is adorable. You will certainly fall in love with her.

What’s Good:

♦ Salman Khan Powerful Act
♦ Heart Touching Story
♦ Thoroughly Entertaining
♦ Breathtaking Cinematography
♦ Salman-Munni Chemistry
♦ Climax

What’s Bad:

♦ A little stretched
♦ Slow In Early 2nd Half

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Review: Last Word

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is easily Salman Khan’s best film in recent times. The film has a strong massage that love, peace and humanity have no borders and religion. Don’t miss this emotional journey of Pavan and Munni as it will blow your heart. As for box office numbers are concerned, expect fire crackers at the box office on this Eid.
