  1. Koimoi and bollywood Hungama report : ” BM has grossed over 341 cr worldwide and is currently 11th highest grossing film globally ( Dilwale 10th ) . BM has beaten the lifetime WW collection of ” bang bang ” which 340 crores and is currently on the 11th spot in list of Bollywood worldwide top earners .”

  2. Wahi to mai soch rha tha ki avi tak taran adarsh k data kyu copy nhi hue wo to kb ka update kr chuka h..wo BollyArena se jyada.

  3. It’s a brilliant film and deserves all the accolades, spcially the main protagonist, He has raised the bar for other young talents and it’s really amazing to see, great talent being recognized, it’s not easy to spend 125 Crores on a guy that’s just few films old, for that I praise Indian Cinema changing.
To Bollyarena, you are doing a wonderful job for making commoners like myself understand the business aspects of the movies, as audience and fans are keen to know that.
My Question to you guys is; Bajirao Mastani was made on a budget of 125 Crores, and at best it will make 185 Crores in India, and 100+/- in overseas. The Indian ROI is not even 50% and to make overseas counted it will be around 120%, What will be the verdict?
On the other hand Dilwale was made on a budget of 105 Crores and it seems that Dilwale will make at most 148 Crores in India, so the ROI (Return on Investment) just from India is 48% and keeping overseas in view it goes above 200%, What will be the verdict?
Having said that, Bajirao Mastani in India has beaten Dilwale by a distance, but the costs recovered are still lower…
    Thanks

    • Much depends on how the territories were sold. If distributors have bought Dilwale at exorbitant cost expecting success like Bajarangi Bhaijaan, then distributors are at loss and not producers. Films like Dilwale are sold only based on star value, not content. For SRK, Kajol, Rohit Shetty and Varun Dhavan, distributors most probably paid hugh money for rights. With loss to distributors, star value of the concerned i.e. SRK, Shetty etc. decreases significantly. Their next film will fetch less money from the distributors. Even Rajnikanth agreed to pay money back to distributors when his film flopped even though he is not legally bound to do so. So significance of all these collections etc. is not for current film, but next upcoming films. For BM, SLB & RS can demand more money, as they have proved that they are saleable.

  4. Dilwale budget not includes srgay cost so ur question is not complete. So plz complete it automatically ur answer comes in ur brain.

  5. Abe Ind jindagi me pehli baar to ye term suna hoga aur munh utha kr a gye bakwas krne.

Aur BollBollyarena se puch lo jb baat profit ki ho to BM 200cr kr lega tab v Dilwale k barabar nhi hoga..

  6. Seems, my comment did not go well with the fans, I am sorry guys, I am a movie buff, and numbers do interest me, The explanation did not come from Bollyarena guys, so I am still waiting for it, What Economics says to me is making cost and the recovery of the same, and going by the recovery, Bajirao Mastani seems to be an out and out winner in India. I read a recent interview of Shahrukh Khan, and He said that He’s disappointed and will do offbeat films, and then to get back on the bandwagon will throw a commercial one too, Best of luck to his team, and Kudos to Bollyarena.
