Badrinath Ki Dulhania 1st Week Box Office Collection: BKD has done well in the first week as it has grossed 73.66 crore. It is the third highest first week of 2017 behind Jolly LLB 2 and Raees.
The film was aided by Holi advantage on Monday and Tuesday. The impact was more because the pre-Holi period affected Badrinath Ki Dulhania collection in the weekend especially in North India.
This week some small Hindi films like Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero are releasing which are unlikely to make any mark. Thus BKD will lead in the second week also but it remains to be seen that how stronghold it will be. Competition is weak in next few weeks also and BKD can take benefit of that and may even challenge JLLB2.
