Arbaaz Khan has sent a legal notice to Telugu writer and actor Pawan Kalyan claiming that his upcoming film ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ bears striking resemblance to his directorial venture ‘Dabangg 2’ starring Salman Khan. For the record, the prequel Gabbar Singh was an official remake of ‘Dabangg’ and the rights were bought by Pawan Kalyan for the Telugu remake.

However, Kalyan had claimed that ‘Sardarr Gabbar Singh’ is an original script and therefore went ahead with the project. But its trailer didn’t go down well with Arbaaz Khan who found it to be strikingly similar to his ‘Dabangg 2. Interestingly there were reports that Dabbang 2 was a rip off of Gabbar Singh.

Directed by K. S. Ravindra, ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ features Kajal Aggarwal opposite Pawan Kalyan who plays the title role. The film will also be released in Hinid language.

  1. Salman owes so much to tollywood. He rose to stardom by remakng tollywood films. What Arbaaz did is wrong.
