Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss and promote his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
The film is a satirical comedy about PM’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and is based on the importance of sanitation and the need to have a toilet in every household.
Akshay Kumar shared a picture on Twitter as he wrote, “Met PM
@narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming ‘Toilet-Ek Prem Katha.’ His smile at just the title made my day!”

Reportedly the makers of TEPK are eyeing to get tax free status before the release. Also starring Bhumi Pednekar, the film will release during Independence Day weekend clashing with Shahrukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali’s untitled film.
