Akshay Kumar’s Airlift has been cleared by UAE censor board. The film is releasing today in 70 screens there.

Akshay Kumar shared his delight on Twitter. He wrote, “Delighted to inform fans of #Airlift in UAE that our film has been cleared for release. Its releasing across 70 screens in the Middle East today.”

The film deals with the Gulf War between Iraq and Kuwait so it was feared that film may get into censor board controversy in the Middle East region. But fortuately it has not been the case. Previously Akshay Kumar’s Baby was banned in Pakistan.

This is not the first time that Akshay has featured in a film that promotes the spirit of patriotism. “Baby”, “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty” and “Gabbar” are some of the films in which he has essayed a responsible countryman. .
