This Friday there were small Hindi films that hit the screens. Vikram Bhatt's horror film 1920 London starring Sharman Joshi, has done decent business at the box office despite taking a slow start.
The film was released in 700 screens in India . As per the official figures 1920 collection on its first day will be around 2.47 crore. The film had a low opening in the early shows, with an average of 15% registered occupancies. The film has beaten Saala Khadoos, Tera Suroor and Love Games.
1920 London box office collection is decent on its day 1. In fact it is much better than what it looks like at the start of day. But there was good growth in smaller centers. These kind of films always have a chance to score in these cities. As we reported yesterday also that 1920 London has a chance to score at the box office because of its smart economics. The shows of the film has been increased on Saturday as it is performing reasonably well today.
